The Robinson Family at Appleton Farms

Jessamine, John and their precious girl Elena were here on the North Shore visiting family. So I got to spend a lovely afternoon at Appleton Farms with them. We all followed Elena around while she explored the trails, visited the cows and climbed steps, which might be one of her favorite 1 year old pastimes. Her cuteness made me smile the whole time and I can tell she is the apple of her parent’s eye, can’t you?

Jessamine and John it was so good to reconnect with you again and I am so excited to share the rest of the photos with you. Choosing was such a challenge!

The Pearce Family | Road Trip Sessions

Our trip to Indiana this summer was full of goodness. We are so glad we took the time to road trip out there. I have much to share from our trip. I’ll start with our portrait session of the Pearce Family. This is our second photo shoot at their parents farm. You can check out our first shoot HERE. I just love this family and the location. Their boys had us laughing the whole time, and while I took some portraits of mom (with baby 3 on the way) and dad, Larry entertained the kids with magic tricks. Always a big help. Photographing families around the country and throughout the world is so refreshing. It makes me want to hit the road for a year. Maybe someday we will.

Caitlyn | Senior Portrait Session

For Caitlyn’s session we explored Tupper Manor at Endicott College in Beverly. Then we headed to one of my favorite spots, Long Hill of the Trustees of the Reservation only to be chased away by menacing baby green heads. So we wrapped up the session at Lynch Park where I felt most at home. I haven’t been shooting there as much lately, just wanting to mix it up a bit, but it felt so good to be back there with my camera.

These are some of the portraits that Caitlyn has chosen as her favorites and I love them too. Tonight I get to see her and her mom Tracey for a closer look at the images together here at my place. I just love being a part of the whole process!

Dana and Chris | Gore Place

Their wedding day was held at one of Boston’s best kept wedding venue secrets, Gore Place. It is a gorgeous historic property that has sprawling fields of wheat, huge beautiful trees, a carriage house, and a stately mansion. The guests meandered through the secret garden and fields with cocktails and it just looked like a scene from the early 1900′s.

We have know Dana and Chris for many years as guests at their friend’s weddings, whom we have also photographed. I have looked forward to this day for years. They have too. And I know they agree it was worth the wait. Here is a slideshow of some of the sweet moments from their day.

The night was too windy to set all but one paper lantern off safely into the sky. It was Dana and Chris’ lantern. It was a beautiful celebration and we were grateful to be a part of capturing it. Here are some of the people who made it so special-

Band – Rare Form
Caterer – Cuisine Chez Vous
Bride’s Dress – Reem Acra
Florist – Natures Design

Hangers – BridalCuteHangers

Lacey and Kevin | Newport, RI

This season we have been blessed with working with some of the most lovable people. Lacey and Kevin are beautiful inside and out. Their wedding day reflected that and I think you will see their love and kindness in these images, on their friends and families faces and when they look at eachother.

I am sharing a new slideshow feature today with more of my favorites from the day as well as the usual scroll. You can play with the controls to customize your view, go full screen, turn off music… it’s pretty simple. Enjoy!

Gorgeous flowers by Lacey’s cousin Navya of Little Flower Cottage

Lacey was so pleased with her dress shopping experience at La Reine. It was designed by Manuel Mota for Pronovias and it was so perfect on her.

Hotel Viking has so much pretty light to work with.

I love this shot Larry took of Kevin’s mom.

Lacey and her dad.

We photographed Kelly and Chris’ wedding a few years ago. I love the way he looks at her as she sees her sister arrive at the church.

I love this hug captured right after the kiss.

Kevin can go from this serious to that silly so easily. That’s one of our favorite things about him.

Dad surprised Lacey with one of her favorite songs “Gracie Girl” by Ben Folds for their father daughter dance and Cover to Cover changed the words to Lacey Girl for them.

Congratulations Lacey and Kevin!

Tabitha and (Larry too)
